Adriano born in ‘66 in Aveiro and some months ago he returned to live in his beloved hometown. Before the move he was based in Lisbon and worked since 2001 as the Photo Editor for the daily “Publico” where he now is a staff photographer. He manage his time to teach in several photography and photojournalism schools, but he never loose his personal essays from sight aswell. Among his projects are documentaries about miners, a school with three students, East Timor, and Aveiro in ancient salted paper process. He exhibited his work throughout Portugal but also in Belgium, Spain and France, namely in Arles and in Paris. Adriano’s work was published in six books.
