Born in 1975 in a city where the end of day light and its contrast doesn’t seem to have an end: Lisbon.

As a schoolboy, Photography soon stood out from all other art forms he was teached. In 2000, Ventura finishes his Photography course at ARCO, an Arts and Communication school, starts working regularly for weekly “Expresso” newspaper and the youth curiosity became his profession.

Music and sports are the ways he uses to get some distance, but at the end, Photography takes most of the time in his life.

He sees Photography as way of representing society through his look and convictions, just like other human forms of expression.
