Born in `71, she remembers as a child always playing with family cameras, these experiences developed the desire of being a professional photographer, but only after feeling that real life was out of the office where she worked, she decided to make this dream came true.

To realize her ambition she enrolled on the photojournalism and documental photography course in ETIC, and attended Cenjor to enrich her learning. Discovered that over all she likes to photograph people and their small universes. Photojournalism gave her the chance of living with them and enriching herself as a person.

Through photography she likes to question and tries to find the answers each time she presses the shutter. The subjects she chooses for her photo reportages awake her curiosity; she wants to know more about them. Sofia likes to think she has chosen the most beautiful profession in the world.
